Our Practices & Partnerships

Our steers are born right here on our cow-calf operation where they’re dam raises them on milk and pasture under our care. We wean them between 6-8 months of age when we hand-select each steer that will go into our beef program. They are then separated into their own field where we work with our local livestock nutritionist to start adding a specially curated grain ration into their diet as a supplement to all the grass & hay they can eat. All of our cattle also have year round access to a high quality, unrefined salt and mineral that we source from Redmond Real Salt in Utah.

They live out their life, fat and happy, on beautiful pasture and sunshine until they’re “finished” around 18-20 months of age when we will transport them to our local USDA processing facility where they dry age the beef for 10-14 days before being labeled and vacuum sealed.

In addition to a quality nutrition program, we also carefully select our registered Angus herd bulls based on their high marbling genetics and quality carcass data.

We believe that all of these practices combined helps in producing happy, healthy cattle, and we all know that means mouthwatering beef with unbeatable flavor. From the steaks to the ground beef, and everything in between, it’s a quality that we’re not only proud to stand behind, but that we’re proud to feed our own family.
