Our Practices & Partnerships

Our steers are born right here on our cow-calf operation where they’re dam raises them on milk and pasture under our care. We wean them between 6-8 months of age when we hand-select each steer that will go into our beef program. They are then separated into their own field where we work with our local livestock nutritionist to start adding a specially curated non-GMO grain ration into their diet as a supplement to all the grass & hay they can eat. We utilize a Rotational Grazing system in order to keep our pastures healthy and naturally fertilized. All of our cattle have year round access to a high quality, unrefined salt and mineral that we source from Redmond Real Salt in Utah.

They live out their life, fat and happy, on beautiful pasture and sunshine until they’re “finished” around 18-24 months of age when we will transport them to our local USDA processing facility where they dry age the beef for 10-14 days before being processed, labeled and vacuum sealed.

In addition to a quality nutrition program, we also carefully select our Registered Angus Herd Bulls based on their high marbling genetics and quality carcass data.

We believe that all of these practices combined makes happy, healthy cattle, and happy, healthy cattle is what produces mouthwatering beef with unbeatable flavor. From the steaks to the ground beef, and everything in between, it’s a quality that we’re not only proud to stand behind, but that we’re proud to feed our own family, our friends, and our community.
